Shauna Markey is proud to say she has made her living as a professional working actress for the past 15 years. She has performed on Broadway in the Revival/ National Tour of WIZARD OF OZ, toured Europe and Canada with A CHORUS LINE, and has been featured in over 30 regional theatre productions working with such well-known actors as Mickey Rooney, Joanne Worley, Eartha Kitt, & Cathy Rigby .
Thousand Oaks audiences may know Shauna as the director & choreographer of the 2005 acclaimed production of WIZARD OF OZ at Cabrillo Musical Theatre. Currently, Shauna primarily makes her living doing on-camera Commercials and Voiceovers. Some of her extensive commercial work includes AOL, CINGULAR, BIG LOTS, TACO BELL, BELL SOUTH, MEOW MIX, QUAKER OATS, FABREZE, CABLEVISION, BAHAMAVENTION, to name a few. Her voice can be heard with such clients as VERIZON, OLD NAVY, MERYVNS, SIZZLER, LA FITNESS, WENDYS, BEST BUY, MARSHALL FIELDS, NEW EGG; movie trailers for PRIDE AND PREJUDICE and A GOOD WOMAN, plus several animation projects. Shauna is honored to be a member of the prestigious Musical Theatre Guild of Los Angeles and has her BFA in Musical Theatre as a magna cum laude graduate. “Through directing and choreographing productions, I’ve discovered my tremendous passion for teaching performing arts to children.
